Blabbeando

Andrés Duque is the writer of, Blabbeando, a blog which focuses on LGBT and Latino issues in the United States and in Central and South America. Blabbeando has recently celebrated its third anniversary.

Duque consistently shines a light on issues that generally don’t receive a lot of attention in the mainstream press. He has written about Hugo Chavez’s record on LGBT rights, gay pride parades in Cuba and the Dominican Republic, and has extensively covered the murder of Angie Zapata, an 18 year-old transgender teenager in Colorado.

Duque is the director and cofounder of Mano a Mano, a Latino gay rights coalition.
